Paddle Weight Chooser
Paddle weight is the number on the spec sheet, and it's one of the easiest things to compare. This tool turns how you play into a suggested range in ounces. It's a starting point for shopping or borrowing a paddle, not a rule. Our paddle weight guide explains the ranges, and USA Pickleball sets no weight limit for paddles.

Before you buy
- Weight isn't the whole feel. Two paddles with the same listed weight can swing very differently depending on where the weight sits. That's swingweight; see the paddle weight guide.
- Brands label ranges differently. One brand's "midweight" can overlap another's "lightweight," so go by the number.
- Try before you buy when you can. A borrowed paddle for a few games tells you more than any spec sheet.
- Arm discomfort that keeps coming back is worth a conversation with a clinician, not just a different paddle.
